Annie Lennox Advice for Susan Boyle

Another celebrity to become of Susan Boyle, this time within the music industry is praising Susan’s voice and audition for Britain’s Got Talent.

And Annie Lennox who has been in the music business for over 30 years has some words of advice to Susan. She says Susan shouldn’t worry to much about what people say in any aspect of her life or career, she reckons the public can be sometimes merciless and if you don’t have your guard up it may affect you too much.

“This phenomenon with Susan Boyle. She’s not a goddess to look at, God bless her.

“But everyone was deriding her. And that’s very cruel.

She goes on to compare what happened with Susan Boyle to a Roman Circus, people can be very cruel, spot your weaknesses and aim at them. But same as they can be cruel, thy can be your best supporters. Their opinion can change everyday, every minute and if you are not prepared to deal with it, it can turn into a nightmare.

“And then she sang and they all give her a standing ovation. It’s almost like the Romans where they put the thumbs up and you’re the best and you can survive or they put the thumbs down and you’re dead in the water.

“If people like your music you can’t guarantee they’re going to love you, they’re going to hate you, you just never know.

“So you go along with the journey.

“You learn to be philosophical.”

These words add up to the myriad of supporters Susan Boyle is getting on the celebrity side of business.
