Another Susan Boyle Competitor Shaun Smith
After the flatulent man and a lady that tried three times to sing horribly bad You Raise Me Up, a young men stole the show by his performance of Ain’t No Sushine When his Gone.
Shaun Smith came on stage more nervous about his mates approval that that of the feared Simon Cowell. Shaun seems to have the looks, attitude and talent to make it as a recording artist and the look of delight in Simon Cowell’s eyes while Shaun was singing says that he believes Shaun could go far. Good song choice, nice voice and well performed.
Simon said that Shaun reminded him of Mick Hucknall of Simply Red or a “Better looking Simply Red”, Amanda commented on Shaun’s apparent lack of confidence showed by his body language and Piers said that he was not expecting Shaun’s performance.
Three big yeses assured Shaun’s presence in the semi finals competing with Susan Boyle, Jamie Pugh and others. Will he make it to the finals? it will depend on his song choice and preparation.
