When Susan Boyle auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and became an overnight success thanks to Internet and youtube, she was not the only one finding popularity.

We all know the story, a middle that is woman, walks in Britain’s Got Talent stage, she says she is 47, Piers squints , she says she wants to become a professional singer Simon rolls his eyes and everyone laughs and booos, she says she would like to be like Elaine Paige and people roll their eyes and smirks, but STOP! the camera is focusing on girl 1:24 (named to the minute count of the video where the camera focus on her).

All the sudden this girl becomes popular or better said VERY UNPOPULAR, as much as people started loving Susan Boyle and her voice, they started hating this girl. the question is Why? if we all were thinking the same as the video was progressing?

One of the reasons of Susan Boyle’s success is that she epitomizes the completion of the ultimate dream, overcome difficulties and prejudice to achieve your lifetime dream. Susan Boyle the unlikliest person to become worldwide famous is a worldwide sensation overnight. But this girl, she represents the ugly part of us that would push anybody down if they are not pretty enough, people hate her because she reminds us of ourselves at that precise moment of the video.

It’s unfair to her, and the representatives of Britain’s Got Talent are available for her in case she needs any kind of advice at the end, they are the ones responsible for single her out of the audience at that precise moment.

For those who claim to hate this girl, don’t! I’m sure she changed her attitude the moment Susan started to sing the same way we all did, probably she even cried the same way we all have done.

Even Susan Boyle herself has urged people to stop the hate campaign, she has been reported saying to the media “leave the poor girl alone”.
