Tonight another contestant used a Les Miserables song, Jamie Pugh had never performed in front of a large audience and in a show were contestants tend to show off powerful voices Jamie was able to singe the song with a kind of emotion that made most of the public teary. A standing ovation at the end of the performance was enough to let Jamie Pugh how well he was received and how he touched the public’s heart.
The three judges were unanimous three yeses that gave Jamie Pugh the chance to participate in the semi finals along with Susan Boyle.
In my opinion Jamie Pugh’s story is same as Susan Boyle’s that of an individual overcoming difficulties to realize a dream, in Susan Boyle’s case was the prejudce of those watching her, Jamie’s were his own lack of self confidence and stage fright.
