Album sales and official news
Britain’s Got Talent was not the first attempt to get recognition from Susan Boyle. Years ago she spent all her savings producing a tape with two songs “Cry Me a River” and “Killing me Softly”, the modestly penned songs show what a naturally polished voice Susan has, without the help of a professional producer or musicians she is able to sing through both tracks with absolute confidence and emotion.
These recordings hint a long lasting successful career ahead of her.

Sounds in the beginning like judy garland and outdoes Barbara Striesand and Julie London’s versions.
This song rivals with the julie london’s original or with the linda ronstadt ‘s rendition.
Susan has one of the best voices I’ve listen in a long long time.
Wow! Susan, you’re fabulous. These song selections make me think of Barbara Striesand, and she’s pretty fabulous, too. I’d love to hear you sing “What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life”.

Miss Boyle knocked my socks off when she began to sing “Cry Me a River.” She surpassed the greatest recording of it that I’d ever heard, the wonderful performance of the jazz great Roberta Sherwood in the 1950s. Her “Killing Me Softly” brought tears to my eyes. Susan Boyle will have a long and illustrous career, and I’m over the moon.
At first when I see your picture,I didnt give it a damn but when Ive heard the news, Ibecame interested in you. So I go over my pc and see u at the You tube,I was really amazed with your cold, soft and alluring voice. For me,you’re the best. Keep it up.
Well done girl…from one 48 year old to another…it’s your time!
Susan is an excellent example of why we have to stop judging people by their appearance. She may not have fit the rock and roll genre of her early years but there should have been a place for her in our awareness for much longer. I only hope she is allowed to continue singing and to stay herself.
susan made me realized once more the extra ordinary gift that God has in store for each and every one of us if only we keep on trying and discover the uniqueness of what we are made of.. . Thank you so much susan for such an inspiration. You have awaken the doubting tomases around the world. Sail on Susan sail on. . . Your voice, your music for sure will be heard by the generations to come and will continue to energize and rejuvenate the weak and seemingly hopeless people in search of life meaningful purpose.. .
Susan, all i can say is you give me goosebumps when i hear you..and to watch the audience reactions when you sang for the first time made me cry..you truly are an incredible person
Susan you are so fabulous. You’ve lit a fire in all hearts. Thank you for letting God into your heart so humanity can hear the gifts He’s placed inside of you!
Waiting not so patiently for you CD! How soon do you think it will be? I need to let you know one thing about Americans. We don’t know a thing about being patient. Tell Simon we’re going a little nuts. (Just kidding of course.).
